About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Packed Foods Category Executive with 3+ years of experience in FMCG, Grocery Retail, Supermarket, or Modern Trade. The role will be responsible for driving sales, margins, assortment planning, vendor management, and inventory optimization for the Packed Foods category.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete Packed Foods category including staples, snacks, beverages, biscuits, ready-to-eat, and breakfast products.
- Drive category sales, profitability, and achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze category performance, sales trends, stock movement, and customer buying behavior.
- Develop assortment planning and ensure the right product mix across stores.
- Negotiate commercial terms, margins, promotions, and support with vendors and brands.
- Monitor inventory levels and reduce stock ageing, shrinkage, and stock-outs.
- Plan and execute promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.




- Coordinate with merchandising, operations, warehouse, and marketing teams.
- Track key metrics such as Sales, Margin, Sell-through, Inventory Turns, and Category Growth.
- Prepare weekly and monthly category performance reports.

Requirements
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising, or Retail Operations.
- Prior experience in Grocery Retail, Supermarket, FMCG, or Food Retail is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of category planning, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and retail reporting tools.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
