Basic Qualifications

- Experience with teaching and/or mentoring
- 5+ years' project or program management experience

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience managing or being involved in a Maker program
- Maker enthusiast, crafter, & tinkerer at heart
- Strong mechanical background (ability to fix Maker equipment)
- Experience with equipment listed below
- Experience with shop safety protocols
- Experience working with outside vendors
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships at all levels within the organization.
- Ability to influence senior leaders on program goals and gain participation.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and thrive in a quick-paced environment.
- Tech savvy, with strong written and oral communication skills.




- Proven ability to improve and create processes within the organization to create efficiencies and clarity.
- Excellent team player, but also has the ability to work independently and make decisions.
- Demonstrated track record of coordinating and supporting successful events and communications.
- Willing and able to travel when needed.
- Experience managing vendors and contracts.
- Experience working on a global team and building relationships virtually.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to be highly productive and proactive with supporting key stakeholders
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
