Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused candidateto handle customer dealing and cake sales at our bakery. The candidate should have good knowledge of cakes, cake flavours, designs, sizes, pricing, customization, and bakery products,along with strong communication and customer-handling skills.

Key Responsibilities

Handle customers professionally and assist them in selecting the right cake, flavour, size, design, and quantity according to their requirements.

Have valuable knowledge of different cake varieties, flavours, fillings, designs, and bakery products.

Handle cake orders, customized cake requirements, and special customer requests

Clearly communicate cake pricing, weight/size, flavours, designs, and delivery/pickup details to customers.

Take customer orders accurately and ensure all order details are properly recorded.

Coordinate with the cake production/kitchen team regarding customized and pre-booked cake orders.

Confirm customer requirements before forwarding orders for production.

Handle customer queries regarding cake availability, customization, pricing, and orders

Provide suggestions to customers based on their occasion, budget, and preferences.

Maintain proper coordination between the customer, counter, and bakery production team

Ensure cakes are properly checked for design, quality, packaging, and order details before handing them over to customers.

Handle customer feedback and resolve routine customer concerns professionally.





Maintain a clean and organized cake display/counter.

Keep the display updated and ensure proper presentation of cakes and bakery products.

Support billing/order processing and maintain accurate customer order records when required.

Follow up on pending/pre-booked orders and ensure timely preparation and delivery/pickup.

Maintain a polite, professional, and welcoming approach with every customer.

Perform other customer service and bakery counter duties assigned by management.

Requirements

1–3 years of relevant experience in customer dealing, cake sales, bakery counter, or a similar role preferred.

Strong knowledge of cakes and bakery products

Experience handling customized cake orderswill be an advantage.

Excellent customer-handling and communication skills.

Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.

Good order-taking and coordination skills.

Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

Presentable, polite, responsible, and customer-oriented.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM / 02:00 PM to 10:00PM

Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Monthly :2 off provided

Location: Bathinda, Punjab

Salary: As per experience and skills
