Role Description The CAD & REVIT Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Trivandrum. The engineer will prepare detailed CAD and Revit models for plumbing, water supply, drainage, and other MEP systems, ensuring accurate layouts and alignment with project specifications and standards. Daily responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with design and project teams, performing clash detection in BIM environments, and updating models based on design changes and site feedback.





The role also involves generating construction documentation, schedules, and shop drawings, maintaining organized design files, and contributing to design optimization and quality assurance. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely delivery of coordinated, build-ready designs.

Qualifications

- Solid Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Revit skills for detailed MEP modeling and drafting.
- Knowledge of Physical Design and Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to building services and fluid systems.
- Familiarity with EDA tools and Cadence or similar platforms for design coordination and verification.
- Experience with BIM workflows, clash detection, and 3D/5D modeling for construction projects.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building codes.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software and strong attention to detail in documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an on-site, project-driven environment.
- Prior experience in MEP, plumbing, or building services design is an advantage.
