Role Description The CAD Engineer will work full time on-site in Gurugram, contributing to design, modeling, and documentation activities across mechanical and related engineering projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings, ensuring design accuracy, and collaborating with engineering and training teams to meet project and curriculum requirements.

The role involves applying physical design principles, checking design feasibility, and integrating feedback from peers and supervisors into iterative design improvements.



The CAD Engineer will also support the setup and use of EDA tools, assist in CAD-related training sessions when needed, and maintain organized project files and design standards.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and workflows, with the ability to produce precise 2D and 3D models.
- Solid understanding of Physical Design concepts and practical application in engineering projects.
- Background in Mechanical Engineering, with experience translating engineering requirements into detailed CAD designs.
- Experience with EDA tools and platforms, including familiarity with Cadence or similar environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to follow established design standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
- Prior experience in training, mentoring, or educational settings related to CAD or engineering software is an advantage.
