Role Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Business Head – GCC to lead and scale the overall GCC business, with responsibility for business growth, P&L;, client relationships, delivery excellence, talent strategy and operational performance.

The ideal candidate will bring robust experience in GCC / Global Capability Centre environments , along with a proven track record of building and scaling large teams, managing senior client stakeholders, driving transformation and delivering profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Business & P&L; Leadership

- Own the overall business strategy, P&L; and growth agenda for the GCC.
- Develop and execute strategies to scale the centre in alignment with the global organisation's objectives.
- Identify opportunities for expansion across capabilities, functions, geographies and service lines.
- Drive revenue growth, productivity, cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
- Establish and monitor key business metrics, governance mechanisms and performance targets.

GCC Strategy & Expansion

- Lead the build, scale and transformation of the GCC , including capability expansion and operating-model evolution.
- Partner with global leadership to define the GCC's strategic role within the wider organisation.
- Develop high-value capabilities across technology, digital, engineering, analytics, shared services or other relevant functions.
- Drive location strategy, workforce planning and capacity expansion in collaboration with global stakeholders.

Client & Stakeholder Management

- Serve as a senior strategic interface between the India GCC and global business leadership.
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders across global locations.
- Understand business priorities and translate them into scalable GCC capabilities and delivery models.
- Represent the GCC in global leadership forums and drive alignment across geographies.





Delivery & Operational Excellence

- Ensure high standards of delivery, quality, productivity, governance and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, digitalisation and operational excellence initiatives.
- Establish strong governance across functions and ensure adherence to organisational policies, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.

People & Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing leadership team and large, diverse workforce.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen the leadership pipeline.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
- Partner with HR to drive talent acquisition, retention, engagement and capability development.

Transformation & Innovation

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, digital technologies and emerging capabilities to enhance GCC value creation.
- Lead strategic transformation programmes and support the evolution of the GCC from a delivery centre to a high-value strategic partner.
- Encourage innovation and establish a culture focused on measurable business outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

- 18+ years of overall experience , with significant experience in GCC / Global Capability Centre leadership .
- Proven experience in leading a large-scale GCC/business unit with ownership of P&L;, growth and operational performance.
- Strong understanding of GCC operating models, global stakeholder management and cross-border business environments.
- Demonstrated experience in building, scaling or transforming GCCs .
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in revenue growth, cost management and profitability.
- Experience managing large, geographically distributed teams and senior leadership teams.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to drive execution.
- Experience in technology, engineering, digital, IT services, shared services or other complex global operating environments would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, influencing and executive stakeholder management skills.
