Business Development Executive

Media Sales Division | Full-Time |

Reports to the Head of Sales / Business Head Position

Summary The Business Development Executive is a senior, client-facing leadership role responsible for driving advertising and media sales revenue, cultivating high-value client relationships, and representing the organisation with the utmost professionalism in the marketplace. This is a target-driven, high-reward position designed for a polished, articulate, and commercially astute sales professional.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, pursue, and close media sales opportunities with corporate clients, agencies, and brand partners.

- Build and sustain long-term, trust-based relationships with key accounts to ensure repeat and referral business.

- Consistently achieve and exceed assigned monthly and annual revenue targets.

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and media plans tailored to client objectives.

- Negotiate commercial terms and pricing in line with company policy to maximise profitable revenue.

- Collaborate with internal marketing, editorial, and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify new revenue streams.

- Maintain accurate records of pipeline, forecasts, and client interactions in the CRM system.

- Represent the organisation with distinction at industry events, client meetings, and networking forums.

Candidate Requirements

- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Proven track record in media, advertising, or B2B sales,



with demonstrable revenue achievement.

- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.

- Confident, well-presented, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and resilient under pressure.

- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert current business opportunities.

Compensation & Rewards

This role offers a highly competitive, performance-linked compensation structure comprising a stable fixed component and a generous, uncapped variable incentive that rewards high performance directly.

Note: Variable incentive is directly linked to revenue generated and is designed to be highly rewarding for consistent top performers, with no upper cap on earning potential.
