Mayday Internet is a Kochi-based eCommerce growth company founded in 2020. We help brands grow online through Shopify development, CRO, and eCommerce strategy.

We work with brands such as Kalyan Silks, Fazyo, and iBELL.

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in sales and business development. You will work directly with our team and learn how real businesses find clients, build relationships, and close deals.

You don't need previous sales experience. Freshers are welcome.

What You Will Do

- Find and research potential clients.
- Identify businesses that can benefit from our services.
- Reach out to potential clients through calls, email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Speak with business owners and decision-makers.
- Understand their business and requirements.
- Join sales calls and client meetings.
- Prepare proposals and presentations.
- Follow up with prospects and manage the sales pipeline.
- Handle basic sales questions and objections.
- Work with our team to convert prospects into clients.
- Maintain client and lead information in our CRM.

Who We're Looking For

- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with new people.
- Good English communication.
- Interested in sales, business, or eCommerce.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
- Positive and target-oriented.
- Organized and valuable at following up.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify, websites, or digital marketing is a plus, but not required.
