Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Business Development Executive at LAXORA The Design Company. The intern will support sourcing and qualifying new business leads, researching potential client segments in jewelry, fashion, and textile design, and maintaining lead databases.

Day-to-day tasks include assisting with outreach to brands and businesses, scheduling and coordinating introductory calls, and supporting account management activities such as follow-ups and basic client communication. The role will involve collaborating with the leadership and design teams to understand service offerings,



prepare simple proposals or pitch materials, and track progress against business development targets. The intern will also help identify partnership opportunities, contribute to market insights, and support ongoing relationship building with clients and designers in the network.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation to help identify, qualify, and nurture prospective clients and partners.
- Candidates should possess Business and Account Management skills to support client relationships, maintain records, and assist in managing ongoing projects and opportunities.
- Candidates should possess robust Communication skills (written and verbal) to engage professionally with clients, designers, and internal stakeholders.
- Basic understanding or interest in design-related industries (jewelry, fashion, textile) and creative services is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and use productivity and CRM tools as needed.
- Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort with online research, outreach via email and social platforms, and preparing concise reports or summaries.
