VPMM Group of Educational Institutions is looking for an experienced and skilled Bus Mechanic to maintain and service the institution's buses and other transport vehicles. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Relevant technical qualification or certification in automobile mechanics.
- Valid driving licence is an added advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Bus Mechanic / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
- Experience in maintaining college or school buses is preferred.
- Experience with diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and other vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of buses.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
- Inspect brakes, tyres, engine, transmission, suspension, and other critical components.




- Carry out emergency repairs when required.
- Maintain service and repair records for all vehicles.
- Ensure buses are maintained in safe and roadworthy condition.
- Coordinate with the Transport Manager for maintenance schedules and repairs.
- Ensure timely replacement of worn-out parts and consumables.

- Solid knowledge of heavy vehicle mechanics.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
