The Business Development professional is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts, and developing strategic business opportunities across freight forwarding services. The role focuses on building long-term client relationships, identifying market opportunities, and achieving sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and achieve assigned sales targets.
- Acquire recent customers and strengthen existing client relationships.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Manage sales leads and convert them into business.
- Promote Air, Ocean, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing services.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business presentations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed business to Operations.
- Monitor customer receivables and support timely collections.
- Build long-term customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
- Track market trends and competitor activities.
- Increase shipment volume, revenue, and profitability.
- Resolve customer concerns in coordination with internal teams.
- Maintain CRM, sales pipeline, and MIS reports.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and submit sales updates.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Continuously improve product knowledge and sales skills.
- Contribute to business growth and market expansion.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
