BIM Electrical Modeler

We are looking for an experienced BIM Electrical Modeler to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate electrical BIM/Revit models and supporting coordination, documentation, and project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Electrical Revit/BIM models as per project requirements and BIM standards.

Model electrical services including lighting, power, containment, cable trays, electrical equipment, and other electrical systems.

Prepare and update models from LOD 300 to LOD 350/400, as required.

Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, architecture, and structural disciplines.

Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues using Revit and Navisworks.

Incorporate service penetrations, openings, supports/hangers, and other required BIM elements as per project LOD requirements.

Prepare and modify electrical drawings, layouts, schedules, and project documentation from BIM models.

Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling guidelines, and QA/QC procedures.

Review models for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and other discipline teams to meet project deadlines.

Support the project team in delivering models and drawings within agreed timelines.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit – Electrical.

Good understanding of electrical systems and BIM modelling practices.

Working knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.

Understanding of LOD 300, LOD 350,



and LOD 400 modelling requirements.

Knowledge of BIM standards, modelling guidelines, and documentation workflows.

Ability to work independently and effectively in a Work From Home environment.

Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Work From Home – Technical Requirements

Candidates opting for Work From Home must have access to a high-configuration workstation capable of handling large Revit/BIM project files.

The workstation should ideally have:

High-performance multi-core processor suitable for Revit and BIM applications.

Minimum 32 GB RAM; 64 GB or higher is preferred for large projects.

Dedicated graphics card suitable for Revit, Navisworks, and 3D visualization.

SSD storage, preferably NVMe, with adequate capacity for project files and applications.

Reliable high-speed and stable internet connection for cloud-based collaboration and file transfer.

Windows OS and the required Autodesk/Revit/Navisworks software environment as specified by the project.

Candidates should ensure that their system can smoothly handle large Revit central/cloud models, linked models, and Navisworks coordination files without performance issues.

Experience:

2–6 years of relevant experience in Electrical BIM/Revit Modelling, preferably with experience in MEP, Data Centre, Infrastructure, Commercial, Hospital, Airport, or other large-scale projects. Location
