About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Python and AWS serverless technologies to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services. You will play a key role in building secure APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop secure REST APIs using Python
- Build, package, and deploy microservices on AWS
- Work extensively with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM)
- Implement data models and ensure efficient database interactions
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure high-quality code
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability for production systems
- Participate in design discussions and provide technical guidance
- Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows

Required Skills
- Robust hands-on experience in Python




- Experience with microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of AWS serverless services
- Experience in unit testing and integration testing
- Knowledge of logging, monitoring, and observability
- Experience in API development and backend system design

Desired Skills (Good to Have)
- Flask / FastAPI experience
- CI/CD exposure
- Database experience (SQL / NoSQL)
- Production support and troubleshooting experience

Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills to explain design and technical decisions
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Good documentation and collaboration skills

Qualifications
- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Systems
- 7–9 years of relevant backend development experience
