WayToDev builds and ships products for clients — websites, apps, and increasingly, production AI agents (support, ops, voice) grounded with real tools and approval gates before actions.

What you'll do

- Build and maintain APIs with Node.js, depending on the project using TypeScript
- Wire up integrations: databases, third-party APIs, auth, and — on some projects — LLM endpoints
- Write clean, typed request/response contracts the frontend team can rely on
- Handle secrets, rate limits, and basic observability
- Debug production issues with real client impact — you'll own a service end to end, not just tickets

You'll fit well if you have

- 0–3 years building backend services in Node.js/TypeScript (or robust equivalent in another backend language, with willingness to learn TS)
- Understanding of REST API design, HTTP status codes,



and basic auth patterns
- Comfort with Git and reading other people's code without hand-holding
- Curiosity about serverless/edge computing (Vercel Edge, AWS Lambda — any of these counts)

Nice to have (not required)

- Hands-on with Caching/Rate Limiting/Security or willingness to ramp up learning new technologies fast
- Any exposure to AI/LLM integration (calling an API, prompt handling, basic RAG) — genuinely useful given our AI agent work
- QA/testing habits — writing a test before someone asks you to

Logistics

- Remote, must overlap 10 AM–7 PM IST, Mon–Fri
- Compensation: ₹4–8 LPA, based on experience
