About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build reliable, scalable, and secure backend systems. You will work closely with frontend engineers, product teams, and other technical stakeholders to develop APIs, services, integrations, and backend features.

This role is suitable for an early-career engineer who has strong programming fundamentals and is interested in building production-ready software.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and internal systems.
- Work with databases to design efficient schemas, queries, and data models.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and production issues.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and continuous improvement.





Required Skills

- Strong programming knowledge in Java, Python, Node.js, or a similar backend language .
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and backend architecture .
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control .
- Understanding of software development and debugging practices.
- Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Spring Boot, Django, FastAPI, Express.js, or similar frameworks .
- Basic understanding of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
- Exposure to microservices or distributed systems.
- Understanding of caching, message queues, or asynchronous processing.
