We are looking for a Backend Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and Python to join our engineering team. You will build and maintain server-side applications, RESTful APIs, database systems, and business logic. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs using Node.js and Python.

- Build server-side logic and application workflows.

- Develop backend services using Node.js frameworks and Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Design clean database schemas and write optimized queries.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases.

- Develop secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT, OAuth, or similar methods.

- Connect third-party services such as payment gateways, cloud storage, and messaging platforms.

- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement caching solutions such as Redis when required.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

- Conduct and participate in code reviews.

- Troubleshoot bugs and production issues.

- Work with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, requirement discussions, and effort estimation.

Required Skills

- 2+ years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and/or Python.

- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and ES6+.

- Good knowledge of Python programming and backend development.

- Positive understanding of asynchronous programming, Promises, Async/Await, and the Node.js Event Loop.

- Hands-on experience with Express.js, NestJS, FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks.

- Strong understanding of RESTful API development.

- Experience with middleware, error handling, authentication, and API security.

- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar databases.





- Knowledge of database schema design and query optimization.

- Experience with ORM/ODM tools such as Prisma, TypeORM, Mongoose, Sequelize, SQLAlchemy, or Django ORM.

- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows.

- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

- Basic understanding of Docker and Linux.

- Familiarity with CI/CD and deployment processes.

- TypeScript experience is preferred.

Qualifications

- Ability to work independently as well as with a development team.
