Job Role: AWS Solution Architect - Rust

Location: Pune

We are looking for an experienced AWS Solution Architect with robust expertise in Rust, cloud-native architecture, API-first microservices, and distributed systems .

The role will own end-to-end solution architecture, technical decisions, architecture governance, stakeholder management, and production readiness for a Rust-based microservices platform hosted on AWS .

Key Responsibilities

- Design scalable, secure and highly available solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) .
- Translate business requirements and non-functional requirements into robust cloud architectures.
- Define microservice boundaries, API contracts, integration patterns, data architecture and deployment strategies .
- Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, ADRs, technical discussions and architecture governance.
- Design and review solutions using AWS VPC, API Gateway, ALB/NLB, EKS/ECS/Fargate, ECR, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, ElastiCache, IAM, KMS and WAF .
- Guide engineering teams on Rust-based production services , async programming and cloud-native development.
- Drive scalability,



performance, availability, disaster recovery, security and cost optimization.
- Define observability using Amazon CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry and AWS X-Ray .
- Work closely with Engineering, DevOps/SRE, QA, Security, Product and Operations teams.
- Provide technical leadership during integration, production readiness and major production incidents.
- Document architecture decisions, technical risks, dependencies, trade-offs and operational requirements.

Candidate Profile

- 10+ years of experience in software/cloud engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture / Cloud Architecture .
- Strong experience designing AWS-hosted distributed systems and microservices platforms .
- Production experience or strong working knowledge of Rust-based services .
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead technical decisions across onsite/offshore engineering teams.
- Experience working across Architecture, Engineering, DevOps/SRE, Security and Operations.
