Job Purpose | AX 2012R3 developer -

In this challenging position, you will join the AX team in a support-focused role, helping maintain and improve Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 across the company’s core processes. As you build knowledge of the business and application landscape, the role will gradually develop towards AX development responsibilities, including working with X++ customisations, enhancements, and new functionality together with colleagues and key users across departments.

Responsibilities and activities

- Your team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, end user support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 across the organisation;
- You start by handling application support activities, analysing user questions, grouping recurring issues, and helping ensure stable and productive daily AX operations;
- As your knowledge of the system and business processes grows, you will gradually move towards AX development work, including X++ customisations, technical analysis, bug fixing, and small enhancements;
- You test, document, and implement new or changed functionality together with key users, ensuring solutions are practical, reliable, and aligned with business needs.

Your profile

- You hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;




- You have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and X++ development;
- You can demonstrate your expertise through involvement in complex ERP, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse-related projects;
- You are comfortable adapting to changing business priorities and working in an international environment with stakeholders across different locations;
- You enjoy working in a small, collaborative team and bring a proactive, curious, and solution-focused mindset;
- You take ownership of assigned work, communicate clearly, and follow up accurately within agreed timelines;
- Experience with AX warehouse management systems, trade and logistics, integrations, reporting, or SQL Server is an advantage;
- You have strong English communication skills and are comfortable collaborating with international colleagues and business users.
