AWS Observability Engineer

Minimum 5 Years Experience

We are looking for an AWS Observability Engineer with 5+ years of experience to build and standardize monitoring, alerting, logging, and dashboarding across our AWS environments using AWS-native tools and Infrastructure as Code.

Experience

5+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps, with hands-on AWS monitoring work

Key Responsibilities

Set up CloudWatch metrics, logs, dashboards, and alarms across AWS environments

Build reusable AWS Managed Grafana dashboards (EC2, ECS/Fargate, EKS, RDS, Lambda,

API Gateway, security)

Write reusable Terraform modules for alarms, SNS topics, and dashboards

Integrate Security Hub and GuardDuty into monitoring and alerting





Configure SNS-based alerting with transparent severity levels and low noise

Document implementations and run knowledge-transfer sessions

Technical Skills

AWS: EC2, ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ELB, IAM

Monitoring: CloudWatch, AWS Managed Grafana, SNS, X-Ray (preferred)

IaC: Terraform (required), CloudFormation (preferred), Git, CI/CD

Security: Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Well-Architected Framework

Good to Have

AWS Solutions Architect or Terraform Associate certification

Experience with enterprise or multi-account monitoring setups
