Role Summary

Seeking a Senior Automation Tester with 8+ years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and contemporary Quality Engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation framework development, CI/CD integration, and leveraging Generative AI tools to improve testing productivity and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, and database automation frameworks.
- Automate functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
- Perform API testing, database validation, and defect root cause analysis.
- Leverage AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for test case generation, test data creation, script development, and defect analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Architects in Agile teams.
- Mentor junior team members and drive automation best practices.

- Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / TOSCA (Mandatory)
- Java (Mandatory)
- API Testing (Postman, Rest Assured)
- SQL & Database Testing
- TestNG / JUnit / BDD (Cucumber)

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent AI tools

- Understanding of Responsible AI concepts

Nice to Have
- Python

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
