Job Summary :

River is a multi-tenant SaaS CRM built for modern sales and support teams. We are looking for a hands-on Automation Test Engineer to build and own Rivers UI end-to-end automation suite, extend API automation coverage where required, and ensure reliable regression testing throughout the product development and release cycle. This is an automation-first role, not primarily a manual QA position.

Key Objectives :

Design and build Rivers UI E2E automation framework from the ground up.

Use Playwright (preferred) or Cypress to automate critical customer journeys.

Develop and maintain reliable, reusable test cases using Page Objects, fixtures, and test utilities.

Extend and maintain REST API automation for authentication, tenant-scoped data, permissions, web hooks, and negative scenarios.



Automate key integrations such as telephony, messaging, payments, and webhooks using sandbox environments or mocks.

Configure and maintain automation execution in CI/CD.

Technical Skills

2-5 years of of hands-on web test automation experience.

Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress.

Good programming skills in JavaScript / Typescript.

Strong understanding of E2E automation and maintainable test architecture. Experience with REST API testing and automation.

Positive knowledge of Git and browser Dev Tools.

Working knowledge of SQL for test-data validation.

Experience with test data, fixtures, assertions, waits, and reusable automation components.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience testing SaaS or CRM applications.

Experience with multi-tenant applications.

Experience testing RBAC, roles, permissions, and access control. Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms.

Experience testing web hooks and third-party integrations.

Docker knowledge
