Responsibilities
- As a QA Engineer you will be responsible, along with other QA team members, for
creating testcases, optimizing/refactoring existing automation scripts based on user requirements and/or test cases
- Review other QA team members day-to-day activities and updates, ensure quality in
test case execution and report summary is provided clearly to client
- Actively participate in project meetings pertaining to planning and execution
- Should be ready to learn a recent testing tool
- Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain and update test cases as per changes in requirements
- Provide reports of your tasks and progress on daily/weekly basis
Mandatory
- 6+ years of experience with agile software development testing, reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and other available information in order to develop test plans and test scenarios,
both manual (Web and mobile)
- Proven experience with accessibility testing, UI testing (including alignment,
font level understanding, knowledge of CSS would be an advantage)
- Ability to coordinate with developers and product owners to provide efficient feedback, and to maintain the architecture for the automation suite.
- Experience with any version control system such as Git
- Excellent communication skills in English - both written and oral
- Experience with any bug tracking system
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience with any CI/CD tool
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber / JBehave
- API testing both manual and automated
