JDS Designs operates as a remote production partner, helping clients stay lean and profitable by absorbing workload spikes without adding in-house overhead. The studio produces planning drawing packages, building regulation packs, 3D renders, walkthroughs, as-built drawings, REVIT models, PDF to CAD conversions, and MEP CAD services. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an AutoCAD/Revit Operator based in Ahmedabad. The AutoCAD/Revit Operator will prepare detailed architectural and construction drawings, including planning packages, building regulation packs, and as-built drawings, in line with UK standards and regulations.

Daily tasks include developing and refining REVIT models, converting PDF documents to CAD,



and producing accurate 2D and 3D visualizations such as exterior and interior renders and walkthroughs. The role involves collaborating with architects and designers, interpreting markups and design briefs, coordinating with the team to meet project timelines, and maintaining organized drawing documentation. The operator will ensure quality control, adherence to client specifications, and consistent, clear communication with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate, compliant documentation.
- Proficiency in Drawing and Space Planning to translate design concepts into practical, well-organized layouts.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with architects, designers, and project managers.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; experience with 3D rendering tools and walkthroughs is highly desirable.
- Understanding of UK planning requirements, building regulations, and council expectations is a robust advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, ability to work to tight deadlines, and strong organizational skills.
- Prior experience in an architectural drafting or production environment preferred.
