Role Description The Audit Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for leading and managing audit engagements for clients across various sectors. Day-to-day tasks include planning audit scopes, reviewing financial statements, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

The role involves supervising audit teams, assigning tasks, reviewing working papers, and providing guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The Audit

Manager will interact with clients to understand business processes, discuss findings, and present recommendations for improving controls and financial discipline.



The position also includes monitoring timelines, coordinating with tax and finance teams, supporting statutory audits, and contributing to the development of audit methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting, with the ability to interpret financial data and apply relevant standards.
- Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing Financial Statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Hands-on exposure to Financial Audits, including planning, execution, and reporting of audit engagements.
- Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend practical improvements.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, or equivalent, or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Prior experience in audit or assurance roles, preferably in a firm working with startups, MSMEs, or growing enterprises.
- Strong communication and client management skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively.
- Ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and work with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- High ethical standards, commitment to skilled integrity, and willingness to engage in continuous learning.
