Role & responsibilities

- Ensure timely and effective execution Of audits across functions, products, and branches as per RBIA plan.

- Drive closure of recurring / repeat audit observations by liaising With stakeholders. Improve branch classification based on audit outcome.

- Identify control gaps, operational risks & weaknesses and implement corrective and preventive controls,

- Monitor fraud incidents / control breaches, ensure timely reporting as per internal policy & regulatory guidelines, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective action.

- Lead, mentor and review audit team to ensure accuracy, quality & timely delivery Of audits.

- Conduct training programs based on recent circulars, regulatory updates & audit methodology, ensuring capability building across teams.

- Present audit outcomes, key risks, fraud trends, and action plan dashboards to senior management.

- Ensure strict adherence to internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.

- Drive automation, data-based audit testing & process enhancements.
