In precast, MGL Group’s engineers and drafters produce coordinated architectural, structural, and concrete detailing shop drawings. The mechanical team supports projects in oil, gas, mining, and aerospace, primarily using SolidWorks and other CAD platforms. MGL Group’s accounting division services firms in Perth and Melbourne, is expanding into the UK, and handles a broad range of bookkeeping and tax preparation work using multiple accounting software solutions.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Australian Accounting Professional role based in the Greater Vadodara Area. The role involves preparing and reviewing bookkeeping records, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries for Australian clients.

The qualified will assist with tax preparation and compliance for individuals and businesses in line with Australian accounting and taxation standards and timelines. Daily tasks include working within various accounting software platforms,



generating financial reports, and ensuring data accuracy and completeness. The role also requires regular coordination with internal teams and client contacts, responding to queries, and supporting process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Australian accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with accounting and tax software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks or similar) and solid Excel skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with remote Australian clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience working with Australian or international accounting firms is highly beneficial.
