Job Summary

We are looking for an Audio Video Engineer to support the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Audio-Visual (AV) systems in auditoriums, halls, conference rooms and other large venues.

The candidate will work with the technical team at project sites and will be responsible for ensuring that audio and video systems are properly installed, connected, configured and functioning as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation and commissioning of Audio-Visual systems in halls, auditoriums and other venues.
- Install, connect and test speakers, amplifiers, microphones, mixers, projectors, LED displays, screens and other AV equipment.
- Carry out audio and video cabling, termination and proper cable management.
- Configure and test audio systems for proper sound quality and coverage.
- Assist with installation and configuration of projectors, displays, LED screens and video systems.
- Configure AV processors, amplifiers, mixers and other control equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity and equipment-related problems.
- Conduct system testing and commissioning before handover to the client.
- Assist in integrating different AV equipment into a complete working system.
- Perform basic maintenance and fault diagnosis of installed AV systems.
- Read and understand basic AV system drawings, wiring diagrams and equipment layouts.
- Coordinate with senior engineers, project teams, electricians and other site personnel.
- Ensure proper handling, installation and safe operation of AV equipment.
- Travel to project sites as required for installation and commissioning work.
- Prepare basic installation/testing reports and update the senior engineer regarding project progress.

Required Skills
- Good practical knowledge of audio and video systems.
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic wiring and cabling.
- Ability to use basic testing and troubleshooting equipment.
- Understanding of signal flow, audio connections and video connectivity.
- Ability to identify and rectify basic AV system faults.
- Positive knowledge of connectors such as XLR, TRS, RCA, HDMI, SDI, RJ45 etc. will be an advantage.
- Ability to work at height or on-site where required for equipment installation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel to project locations.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics, Electrical, Audio-Visual, Electronics & Communication or related field preferred.
- Candidates with relevant practical experience in AV installation, sound systems, projector installation, LED display installation or auditorium/hall AV projects will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge and willingness to learn may also be considered.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be hands-on, technically oriented and comfortable working at project sites. Experience in installation and commissioning of AV systems in auditoriums, conference halls, banquet halls, theatres, institutions or similar large venues will be an advantage.
