About The Role We are seeking an Associate Principal - Quality Engineering with extensive experience in test automation architecture, AI-enabled quality engineering, and enterprise-scale automation solutions. The role focuses on driving QE transformation initiatives, designing scalable UI, API, and mobile automation frameworks, and establishing quality governance across complex programs.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical leadership, enterprise architecture knowledge, and expertise in AI-assisted testing tools to drive innovation and long-term quality improvements.

The role involves architecting and implementing enterprise-grade automation solutions across UI, API, and mobile platforms. You will define AI-enabled automation strategies, integrate QA and DevTest pipelines with CI/CD and cloud platforms, and establish quality standards and governance models.

You will work with stakeholders to assess enterprise-level quality risks, analyze end-to-end business workflows, and understand data flows across APIs, integrations, event-driven systems, and third-party interfaces. The position also requires mentoring senior engineers, driving AI-led QE adoption, and providing technical guidance for complex production and pre-production issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive AI-enabled test automation strategies aligned with enterprise quality objectives.
- Architect and implement scalable automation solutions across UI, API, and mobile platforms.
- Design and govern QA/DevTest pipelines integrated with CI/CD and cloud platforms.
- Establish QE standards, governance frameworks, best practices, and quality metrics across accounts.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex, multi-layered production and pre-production issues.
- Evaluate and adopt AI-powered testing tools and frameworks at enterprise scale.
- Mentor senior engineers and leads while providing technical leadership and stakeholder guidance.




- Drive enterprise adoption of AI-led quality engineering and support long-term transformation initiatives.

Required Skills

- Enterprise Test Automation Architecture and QE Transformation
- Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with Playwright for UI automation.
- Extensive experience in API automation using REST Assured.
- Mobile automation using Appium or BrowserStack.
- Cloud-based automation platforms supporting UI, API, and mobile testing.
- AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot, MCP, and skill-based assistants.
- AI-driven testing concepts, including self-healing locators, intelligent test generation, smart waits, and flakiness detection.
- Azure DevOps, Jira, and Agile/SAFe methodologies.
- Enterprise architecture, end-to-end business workflows, and application data flows.
- Risk-based testing and QE governance.
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and quality transformation expertise.

Preferred / Good To Have

- Experience evaluating and adopting COTS AI testing tools such as ACCELQ, Testim, and Tricentis Tosca Vision AI.
- Enterprise-scale implementation of AI-powered testing frameworks.
- Experience working with upstream/downstream integrations, APIs, event-driven systems, and third-party interfaces.
