About the Role

We are looking for an Embedded & Electronics Engineer who enjoys building real systems, not just prototypes.

You will work across firmware, PCB design, sensors, motors, power systems and machine integration, taking electronic systems from concept through testing and into field deployment.

This is a hands-on role based at ARL’s farm in Bangalore Rural.

What You’ll Do

- Own embedded and electronics systems end-to-end — firmware, PCB design, schematics, wiring and power electronics.
- Develop and maintain firmware for ESP32, STM32 and similar microcontrollers.
- Build automation and control systems integrating sensors, motors, drivers and actuators.
- Design, test and debug PCBs and electronic subsystems.
- Work closely with Farm Operations, Product and R&D; teams to integrate electronics with machines.
- Take systems from prototype to field-ready deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues under real farm and operating conditions.
- Maintain schematics, PCB files, BOMs and technical documentation.

What We’re Looking For

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems, electronics, automation or related work.




- Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Experience with PCB design using KiCad, Altium, Eagle, EasyEDA or similar tools.
- Hands-on experience with ESP32, STM32, Arduino or similar microcontrollers.
- Good understanding of sensors, motors, drivers, communication protocols and power systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
- Builder mindset — you enjoy designing, testing, breaking and improving systems.
- Willingness to relocate and stay full time at ARL’s farm in Bangalore Rural.

Good to Have

- Experience with custom PCBs or industrial control systems.
- Embedded C/C , RTOS, HAL or low-level development.
- Robotics, machine development or industrial automation exposure.
- Experience taking electronics from prototype to deployed product.

This is a hands-on field role and requires staying full-time at the farm. Accommodation will be provided.
