nThe role

nABV is an investment and operating firm working across infrastructure, mining and technology.

nWe are hiring someone to work directly with a Partner and take projects from an initial idea to a finished result. Research is part of the job. So are building, making calls, coordinating people and getting things done.

nThe Partner will provide direction, guidance and access to agreed resources. You will turn that into a plan, carry out the work and follow through to completion.

nProjects will vary. You could be testing a business idea, researching an opportunity, setting up a process, finding a vendor or working with technical specialists to build something. You do not need to know how to do everything on day one. You do need to learn quickly, ask useful questions and act.

nWhat you will do

- Run projects from start to finish. Break objectives into tasks, agree deadlines, carry out the work and check the result.

- Turn research into action. Find reliable information, compare options, check the numbers and recommend what to do next.

Execute the agreed approach.

- Build and test. Create helpful spreadsheets, tools, processes and working versions of ideas. Use AI and automation where they help, and verify the output.
n
- Work with people to deliver.

Find and contact vendors, advisers and specialists. Give clear briefs, coordinate their work and get gaps fixed.

- Resolve obstacles. Identify what is holding up progress, try practical solutions and bring decisions to the Partner when needed.

- Close the loop.

- Handle day-to-day coordination. Manage professional and personal correspondence, scheduling and logistics with discretion.

nHow we work

nYou will have direct access to the Partner for guidance and decisions, particularly when a project is unfamiliar. Come prepared with what you have found, the options and your recommendation.

nWe expect initiative within agreed boundaries, honest updates and early notice of problems. Your independence will grow as you build context and demonstrate judgment.

nA project is complete when the result works, not when the email has been sent.

nWho we are looking for

nYou may be a recent graduate or have up to two years of relevant experience in business operations, product, growth, research, business development or project coordination.

nWhat matters is what you have delivered. You might have built a tool people used, run a customer or vendor process, launched an initiative or improved how a business worked. Internships, independent projects and experience running something yourself all count.

nWe are particularly interested in people who have combined analytical work with hands-on execution.

nYou should be able to:

- Get moving from a brief. Identify the next steps and begin without waiting for every task to be assigned.

- Do the work yourself. Build the spreadsheet, make the calls, test the tool, write the brief or set up the process.

- Get answers.

Find the right contacts, ask specific questions and follow up until you have an answer or need another approach.

- Use numbers and evidence. Check costs, test assumptions and distinguish verified facts from claims or estimates.

- Keep delivery on track. Manage deadlines, check other people's work and address unfinished details.

- Finish properly.

Test the result, resolve loose ends and make a clear handover.

- Handle routine work reliably. Give correspondence, scheduling and personal coordination the same attention as project work.

nA bachelor's degree in any discipline is welcome. Judgment, initiative and follow-through matter more than academic pedigree.

nYou must be available to work full-time, in person, near UB City and Lavelle Road, Bengaluru.
