Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Quality Manager – Quality & Packaging Development to manage production quality, GMP compliance, quality audits, packaging development, supplier quality and PET packaging improvement activities in a food manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise RM/PM testing and verify quality reports.

- Monitor quality across Pickle, Jam, Glass Bottle, HDPE, PET, Soya, Vinegar, Crush, Sharbat and Mocktail production lines.
- Identify quality deviations and ensure corrective actions are closed within defined timelines.
- Conduct daily production floor monitoring for Quality, Hygiene and GMP compliance.
- Coordinate internal and external quality audits and maintain quality documentation.
- Ensure timely SAP quality approval of RM & PM batches.
- Develop and improve cartons, PET bottles, caps, wads and outer packaging.
- Conduct packaging trials and performance testing.
- Drive packaging cost optimization through material and design improvement.




- Coordinate with vendors for supplier quality improvement and corrective actions.
- Develop alternate packaging/raw material suppliers as required.
- Handle PET Blow Moulding quality and mould development.
- Monitor bottle defects and maintain bottle rejection within acceptable limits.

Candidate Profile

- Experience in Food/FMCG manufacturing industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production quality and GMP practices.
- Experience in packaging material development and supplier quality management.
- Practical exposure to PET bottles/blow moulding will be an advantage.
- Good team management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
