About the Role

Rama P.G. College, Chinhat, Lucknow, invites applications from qualified, passionate, and dedicated candidates for the position of Assistant Professor – Hindi. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, contributing to academic activities, and supporting the overall development of the Hindi Department.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and effective lectures in Hindi for UG and PG students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct tutorials, discussions, presentations, and other academic activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive academic feedback.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and career development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, and college events.
- Contribute to curriculum-related and co-curricular activities.
- Encourage students to participate in literary, cultural, and academic activities.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, and other departmental documentation.
- Support examination, admission, and other institutional responsibilities as assigned.




- Contribute to research, publications, conferences, and other academic initiatives.

Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Hindi / relevant discipline from a recognized university with the required percentage as per applicable UGC/University norms.
- NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. as applicable under prevailing UGC/University regulations.
- Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the affiliating university and regulatory authorities.

Preferred Skills
- Strong command of Hindi language and literature.
- Excellent communication and classroom presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Good academic, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and MS Office/Google Workspace will be an advantage.
- Research orientation and willingness to participate in academic activities.
