Job Summary The Professor of Computer Science will provide academic leadership in teaching, research, curriculum development, student mentoring, and industry collaboration. The incumbent will contribute to the advancement of the department through high-quality teaching, funded research, scholarly publications, and active participation in accreditation and institutional development activities.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Academic Delivery

- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses in Computer Science and Engineering.
- Develop and update course curriculum in line with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Design lesson plans, assessments, laboratory exercises, and project-based learning activities.
- Evaluate student performance and provide academic guidance and mentorship.

Research & Publications
- Conduct high-quality research in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IoT, Blockchain, Software Engineering, and related domains.
- Publish research papers in reputed Scopus, SCI, and Web of Science indexed journals.
- Secure funded research projects, grants, and consultancy assignments.
- Guide Ph.D., M.Tech., and B.Tech. research projects and dissertations.

Academic Administration
- Participate in curriculum design, academic planning, and accreditation processes.
- Contribute to NAAC, NBA, NIRF, and other quality assurance initiatives.
- Serve on academic committees, boards of studies, and departmental committees.




- Support admissions, examinations, and academic audits.

Industry Collaboration & Outreach
- Establish collaborations with industry, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Organize workshops, conferences, seminars, FDPs, and guest lectures.
- Promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer initiatives.

Student Development
- Mentor students for academic excellence, research, internships, and placements.
- Guide students in participating in hackathons, coding competitions, and innovation challenges.
- Support student clubs and technical societies.

Eligibility CriteriaEducational Qualification
- M.Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology is mediatory .
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor's.

Experience
- Minimum experience as per UGC/AICTE norms for the position of Professor.
- Demonstrated record of teaching, research, publications, and academic leadership.
- Experience in supervising Ph.D. scholars and funded research projects is desirable.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals and emerging technologies.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary research and academic initiatives.
- Robust industry-academia networking capabilities.
