Role Description The Assistant Production Merchant (Apparels) will support the production and merchandising team in managing orders, coordinating sampling, and ensuring timely execution of styles. This full-time, on-site role is based in Noida and involves daily communication with internal departments such as design, sourcing, and quality to track production status. The role includes preparing and updating order sheets, monitoring timelines, following up with vendors and suppliers, and assisting with costings and approvals.

Merchant will help review fabric and trims, support quality checks,



and ensure that buyer requirements and technical specifications are met. The position also requires maintaining accurate documentation, assisting with shipment scheduling, and contributing to process improvements in production planning and execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong production and merchandising skills, including order coordination, sample follow-up, and basic costing and T&A; (time and action) tracking.
- Candidates should possess apparel and textile knowledge, including understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and quality standards in women’s and kids’ wear.
- Candidates should possess planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage timelines, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess documentation and analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, maintaining production records, and interpreting order and shipment data.
- Candidates should possess transparent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with internal teams, vendors, and buyers, and for handling day-to-day queries.
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Apparel Production, or a related field are preferred, along
