Experience

3–6 years of overall experience, with relevant experience in Contact Center/BPO operations and Motor Insurance Sales . Prior experience managing a sales team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Team Lead – Motor Insurance Sales with strong exposure to the Contact Center domain . The candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales executives, driving motor insurance sales through contact center channels, achieving business targets, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and lead a team of Motor Insurance Sales executives in a contact center setting.
- Drive daily, monthly, and quarterly sales and revenue targets.
- Monitor team performance across key contact center metrics such as AHT, conversion, productivity, quality, adherence, and customer experience .
- Manage inbound and outbound sales processes for motor insurance.
- Drive lead conversion through effective calling, follow-ups, cross-selling, and upselling.




- Monitor the complete customer journey from lead generation to quotation and policy issuance.
- Conduct daily team huddles, performance reviews, coaching, and feedback sessions.
- Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective action plans.
- Track and improve lead-to-policy conversion, premium, renewal conversion, and revenue per agent .
- Ensure proper utilisation of leads and maintain an effective sales pipeline.
- Handle customer escalations and support agents in resolving complex customer queries.
- Work closely with Operations, Quality, Training, MIS, Underwriting, and other internal teams.
- Review call quality and ensure adherence to sales processes and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and analyse daily/weekly/monthly performance reports and MIS.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and motor insurance guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, customer experience, and team productivity.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and develop high-performing team members.
