Roles and Responsibilities

Procurement Management

- Ensure timely procurement of good-quality materials at the best possible prices, using minimum resources.

- Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.

- Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions as needed.

- Handle, monitor and maintain relationships with international procurement strategic partners.

- Manage logistic arrangements, import clearances and legal compliance related to international procurement.

Store &

- Inventory Management

- Ensure efficient, safe and user-friendly store operations with minimum waste, no theft and no loss/unaccounted material.

- Maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with the production schedule to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.

- Ensure real-time, accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting and audits.

Logistics &

- Distribution

- Manage inward and outward logistics for cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.

- Optimize transportation costs and enhance coordination with vendors and customers.

Costing Support

- Provide accurate and timely data for costing by forecasting procurement timelines and giving reasonable estimates.

- Collaborate with Finance and Production for effective budgeting and planning.

Compliance &

- Quality

- Ensure department-level implementation of ISO &
- QMS standards.

- Establish SOPs and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards across all supply chain activities.

Technology &

- Systems

- Leverage ERP systems for real-time data visibility,



seamless workflows and enhanced operational efficiency.

- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives within the department.

MIS &

- Reporting

- Maintain and manage accurate MIS (Management Information System) for all supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory, logistics and vendor performance.

Team Development

- Mentor, train and develop supply chain team members to meet current operational needs and prepare for future growth.

- Build a performance-driven culture with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement.

Project Planning &

- Execution

- Participate in project planning to ensure timely execution of customer orders.

- Align supply chain capabilities with project timelines and customer expectations.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement with a focus on cost optimization and supplier management.

- Proficient in ERP systems for procurement, inventory and logistics operations.

- Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse management with emphasis on accuracy and minimal waste.

- Skilled in logistics and transportation planning for cost-effective and timely deliveries.

- Experienced in budgeting and cost control, including procurement forecasting.

- Knowledge of ISO and QMS standards with implementation experience.

- Proven leadership and team-building abilities to drive performance and development.

- Solid analytical and decision-making skills for effective supply chain management.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendors and stakeholders.
