Key Responsibilities

- Project Lifecycle Management: Drive projects through gateway review systems, ensuring on-time achievement of milestones from quotation and tooling release to pilot run and SOP.
- OEM Interface: Coordinate technical and commercial discussions with OEM engineering and purchase teams; monitor engineering change requests (ECR/ECN) and ensure timely resolution of customer open issues.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate deliverables across Tooling, Foundry/Machining, Quality, and Sourcing teams for timely prototype build, tooling trials.
- Risk & Budget Control: Track project BOM costs, capital expenditures, tooling budgets,



and schedule variance; proactively identify bottlenecks and implement countermeasure plans.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to automotive standards and customer-specific quality requirements during pre-launch builds and launch ramp-up.
- Reporting: Prepare dashboard metrics, risk matrices, and gateway review presentations for executive management and customer program reviews.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 5+ years of core project management or program management experience in automotive component manufacturing (die casting, precision machining, sheet metal, or powertrain components preferred).
- Age Bracket: 25 to 38 years.
- Mobility: High willingness and flexibility to travel across plant locations and customer sites on short notice.

Key Technical & Behavioural Competencies

- Proficiency in project planning tools.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, heat treatment, machining, assembly) and GD&T; principles.
- Strong negotiation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
