Role Description The Assistant Manager – IT will oversee and support day-to-day IT operations in an on-site, full-time role based in Mananthavady.

Responsibilities include managing network and server infrastructure, ensuring system uptime, and coordinating hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance. The role will involve monitoring data security, backups, and user access controls, as well as troubleshooting technical issues for internal teams.

The Assistant

Manager – IT will collaborate with leadership to plan system upgrades, implement new tools, and optimize IT processes to support business growth and compliance. This role will also maintain documentation of IT assets, policies,



and procedures and coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and operating systems, with experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in user support, troubleshooting, and helpdesk operations, with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Understanding of information security practices, including firewalls, antivirus tools, access control, data backup, and recovery procedures.
- Experience with enterprise applications, ERP or inventory systems, and common productivity tools relevant to manufacturing and export operations.
- Ability to document IT processes, maintain asset inventories, and create clear technical reports and guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving systems and workflows.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage.
- Experience in a manufacturing, food, or agri-based industry environment is beneficial, along with familiarity with compliance and quality standards.
