Role Overview

We're looking for a field-driven Assistant Manager – Business Development to grow Sugg's presence in schools and colleges. You'll be the face of Sugg on the ground - building relationships with principals and college management, and driving adoption of our free AI career guidance program and enrollment platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Travel to schools across the assigned territory and meet principals to introduce Sugg and its mission
- Secure consent from school leadership to conduct free AI-powered career guidance sessions for Class 12 students
- Coordinate and support the on-ground execution of these career guidance sessions
- Meet with college management teams to build partnerships and onboard them onto the Sugg platform
- Enroll interested students onto the Sugg platform following school sessions




- Maintain a pipeline of schools and colleges visited, consent status, and enrollment outcomes
- Build long-term relationships with academic institutions to support repeat engagement and referrals
- Report visit outcomes, feedback, and territory insights to the core team regularly

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in business development, field sales, or the education sector
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — comfortable engaging with school principals and college leadership
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala and neighboring states
- Must own a two-wheeler/vehicle for regular travel
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently in the field
- Basic comfort with digital tools for reporting and platform onboarding
