Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager / Executive to support the maintenance and upkeep of our food manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of plant machinery, utilities, electrical systems, and other maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute preventive & breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain electrical, mechanical, utility, and production equipment .
- Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and ensure minimum production downtime.
- Coordinate with production teams for timely maintenance and equipment availability.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, spare parts inventory, and service reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors/technicians for repairs and AMC-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, GMP, and food manufacturing standards .
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
- Identify recurring breakdowns and implement corrective/preventive actions.




- Monitor maintenance costs and assist in controlling spare and repair expenses.

Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3–7 years in maintenance, preferably in Food/FMCG Manufacturing .
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Robust knowledge of electrical & mechanical maintenance and industrial machinery.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PLC, motors, pumps, compressors, conveyors, boilers/utilities will be an advantage.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
