- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering with 4 to 6 years of experience in product design and engineering change management, with strong engineering knowledge and analytical & problem-solving abilities, understanding the entire lifecycle from market requirements to mass production.

- Essential Skills
- Design & Optimization: Deep expertise in product designing. Ability to optimize designs for maximum efficiency to meet quality and cost requirements.
- Electrical Understanding: Solid understanding of the electrical side, as the “pumpset” includes the motor.
- DFM / DFA: Design for Manufacturing and Assembly. Must understand casting processes, machining tolerances, and how to design for ease of assembly in a high-volume production line.
- FMEA & Root Cause Analysis: Proficiency in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) to prevent field failures,



systematic problem solving, and root cause analyses.
- Project Leadership: Experience in leading a project from concept through Start of Production, including managing timelines and cross-functional communication with Procurement and Quality.
- CAD Proficiency: SolidWorks (mandatory), AutoCAD (optional)

- Desirable Skills
- Basic CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics): Exposure to flow simulation tools like ANSYS Discovery or SolidWorks Flow Simulation to predict performance before prototyping.
- VAVE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering): Cost reduction through design optimization without compromising quality.
- Standards Awareness: Basic knowledge of standards for motors and pumps.
