1.7 Insurance Cross-Sell
- Loan Protection Insurance: bundled with any loan closed, tying directly into BlissMoney existing insurance services.
- MSME / SME Insurance Products: broader business insurance - property, liability, and other MSME-relevant covers - offered as a cross-sell alongside lending, not limited to loan protection alone.
2. Key Responsibilities 2.1 Sourcing Business Banking Relationships
- Build a pipeline of SME and corporate clients across working capital, trade finance, term lending and export finance needs - leveraging existing banking relationships plus BlissMoneys referral network.
- Work leads handed over by the Wealth/RM team and existing client base.
2.2 Credit Assessment & Structuring
- Assess each clients working capital cycle, trade flows, and credit need - structuring a proposal a lender will actually approve.
- For trade finance specifically: correctly structure LC, BG and documentary credit requirements, with working knowledge of INCOTERMS and export/import documentation.
2.3 Syndication & Placement
- Place the structured requirement with the right lender from BlissMoney panel of banks/NBFCs, based on rate, turnaround time, and eligibility fit.
- For larger or foreign-currency requirements, structure the facility across more than one lender where needed - true syndication, not just referral.
2.4 Lender & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and NBFCs to secure competitive terms and faster turnaround for BlissMoney clients, across both lending and deposit-side referrals.
2.5 Cross-Sell & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with RMs and the Advisory team to identify banking and insurance cross-sell opportunities within BlissMoney existing client base.
- Keep the Advisory team informed when a client takes on new business debt, since it affects their overall financial picture.
2.6 Compliance & Documentation
- DSA Registration: BlissMoney operates as a facilitator, partnered with banks and NBFC institutions. This role - or BlissMoney as an entity - will be registered as a Direct Selling Agent (DSA) with each partner lender.
- Follow RBI and FEMA guidelines on loan sourcing, fair practices and cross-border trade transactions at every stage. Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation for every case, including export/import documentation where applicable.
3. What we are Looking For
- Primary Fit: currently or previously a Relationship Manager in a banks Business Banking Group (BBG), Small & Business Banking (SBB), Mid-Enterprise Group (MEG), or Corporate/Trade Finance desk - or an equivalent business banking role at another bank or NBFC.
- Genuine comfort assessing business credit and trade finance requirements - reading financial statements, understanding working capital cycles, and structuring proposals across both rupee and foreign-currency facilities.
- Working knowledge of export/import documentation, RBI/FEMA guidelines governing trade finance and cross-border transactions.
- Comfort managing a full cycle independently - from sourcing through structuring to closing - without a separate handover to another closer.
- Existing relationships with banks/NBFCs and business-owner clients are a strong advantage, given the target candidate profile above.
- Explicit, honest communication - business banking is a trust-sensitive relationship, and clients need someone who explains terms plainly, not someone who oversells.
