About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Head of Applications to lead our study-abroad applications team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in application processing, university admissions, documentation, and team management, with the ability to ensure timely and accurate application submissions.

Key Responsibilities1. Application Team Leadership

- Lead, manage, and supervise the Applications Department.
- Allocate applications among team members and monitor workloads.
- Set team targets, review performance, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Train and mentor application executives to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for application processing.

1. University Applications & Admissions

- Oversee the complete application process for study-abroad destinations.
- Review and monitor applications submitted to universities and colleges.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of application forms and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with universities, admission teams, and institutional representatives.
- Monitor application deadlines, offer letters, and admission decisions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on pending applications and outstanding documents.

1. Documentation & Quality Control

- Verify student documents, academic records, and application requirements.




- Ensure applications comply with university and country-specific requirements.
- Identify errors, missing documents, and potential application issues.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and data security.
- Minimize application delays, errors, and rejections caused by documentation issues.

1. Coordination & Communication

- Coordinate with student counsellors, visa teams, and other departments.
- Guide students and parents regarding application procedures whenever required.
- Resolve application-related issues and escalations.
- Maintain effective communication with universities and external partners.
- Provide regular updates to management regarding application progress.

1. Reporting & Performance Management

- Prepare and submit regular application performance reports.
- Track application submissions, offers, rejections, pending cases, and conversions.
- Monitor team productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure applications are processed within defined timelines.
- Report departmental challenges and achievements to management.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Study Abroad Applications or University Admissions.
- At least 1 year of experience as Head of Applications, Application Team Lead, or in a similar managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of international university application procedures.




- Experience handling applications for destinations such as the UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Dubai, and other study-abroad destinations.
- Strong knowledge of application documentation and admission requirements.
- Excellent team management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, application portals, and reporting tools.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple applications simultaneously.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with study-abroad consultancies.
- Strong knowledge of university application portals and CRM systems.
- Experience in developing SOPs and improving application workflows.
- Ability to train and develop application team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
