The candidate will work closely with customers, system integrators, project teams, and internal engineering teams to ensure successful installation and operation of video analytics systems.

Must-Have Skills

We need someone with real hands-on experience in these areas — not just theoretical knowledge. You should have actually worked on and troubleshot these on live servers and sites:

- GPU & CPU servers — deploying on GPU/CPU servers; installing and configuring NVIDIA drivers and CUDA, and troubleshooting GPU issues on-site.
- Servers & storage — server setup and maintenance, RAID configuration, and ODM hardware experience.
- Docker — building, running, and managing containers; images, volumes, networks, and docker-compose (including GPU-enabled containers).
- Distributed systems — understanding and working with distributed application setups.

- REST APIs — working with and troubleshooting REST API integrations.
- Nginx — configuration, reverse proxy, port forwarding, and routing application traffic.
- Databases — hands-on with PostgreSQL.
- Scripting — Bash scripting for automation; Python and Python scripting for deployment and tooling tasks.
- Command line — comfortable with CMD and PowerShell.
- Version control — Git.
- IP cameras & streaming — hands-on with IP cameras and the ONVIF protocol; adding multiple streams, discovering devices, and troubleshooting stream/connection issues.
- General troubleshooting — diagnose problems on-site across network, server, GPU, storage, and application layers, and resolve them independently.
- Valuable understanding of IP cameras, VMS/NVR systems, and video surveillance technologies .
- Knowledge of camera configuration, RTSP streams, ONVIF, and video codecs such as H.264/H.265.

Field Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys and prepare technical requirements.
- Install and configure cameras, servers, network equipment, and analytics applications.
- Perform camera positioning and analytics-zone calibration.
- Visit customer/project sites for installation and commissioning.
- Validate analytics accuracy under real site conditions.
- Resolve field-level technical issues within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate with electricians, network teams, system integrators, and customer IT/security teams.
- Work independently at customer sites and provide regular project updates.
