Job Purpose To deliver technical application engineering support by conducting thorough reviews of sales orders and updating system summaries and detailed application submittals through rigorous analysis of bills of quantity and purchase orders, ensuring accurate product selection and timely project execution.

Role & responsibilities

Tasks

- Perform in-depth technical reviews of project specifications and international standards.
- Identify and document design inputs and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design inputs and project specifications.
- Engage with clients to clarify and document all requirements and assumptions.
- Refer to plant capability list during product selection phase.
- Collaborate with various departments and functions (CD, PD, PID, costing, QC, and production teams) and external stakeholders during all phases of the projects to optimize solutions, ensure technical excellence, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure optimal selection of products and components that meet project specifications.
- Develop detailed technical proposals within agreed timelines while ensuring compliance with client requirements, project specification, international standards, and department guidelines.
- Foster a culture of collaboration within the application team using real-time communication platforms.





LEAD-TO-ORDER PHASE

- Review and understand all the latest International Standards applicable to Glass fiber composite products.
- Review and understand all the latest Key End User and Client Specifications applicable to Glass fiber composite products.
- Review all submitted project inquiry documents to understand the application requirements and design parameters.
- Coordinate with the Sales/Proposal departments to arrange any missing design parameters or project documents.
- Issue detailed Application Engineering submittals.

PROJECT EXECUTION PHASE

- Perform a technical review of the Sales Orders received to ensure the proper product selection and execution.
- Issue the production System Summary and update detailed Application Engineering submittals to reflect the latest Bill of Quantity and purchase order documents.

AI USAGE FOR ENHANCED DECISION-MAKING

- Leverages AI-driven tools for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization, with the ability to critically assess outputs for accuracy and relevance.
