Position Summary:

nThe Application Developer supports and enhances business-critical manufacturing and quality systems used across Visy operations.

nThe role is responsible for application support, software development, project delivery, and continuous improvement of primarily .NET-based applications and related technologies. Working closely with operations, quality, and IT teams, the position ensures systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.

nThe role operates with a high degree of autonomy, providing technical expertise while contributing to project outcomes and supporting day-to-day business operations.

nKey Responsibilities:

nApplication Support and Development:

- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for business-critical applications.

- Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and system issues.

- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.

- Develop, test, deploy, and support application enhancements and software changes.

- Maintain application configurations, master data, and technical documentation.

- Support and modernise legacy applications while contributing to future-state solutions.

nProject Delivery:

- Support the delivery of application development and improvement projects.

- Work with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.

- Contribute to solution design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to support.

- Support project go-live activities and hyper care.

- 8+ years of experience in application development and support.

- Strong experience with Angular , .NET C# , and related application technologies.

- Experience supporting and delivering business-critical enterprise applications.

- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues and minimise business impact.
