Position : API Automation Testing (Appium)

Experience: 7 to 9 Years

Direct Responsibilities:

- Perform test automation utilizing testing tools such Selenium, APIs Testing Tools, Cucumber
- Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts according to the enterprise Automation Framework standard
- Core Java solid, handson experience with Java and a solid understanding of its fundamentals.
- Understanding of API fundamentals extensive knowledge of REST/SOAP web services, request/response handling, authentication, etc.
- Testautomation expertise with Cucumber ability to design, develop, and maintain BDDstyle automation scripts for API validation.
- Functional API testing: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional tests that validate each endpoints behaviorcovering request/response structures, data integrity, business logic, error handling, and edgecase scenariosto ensure the API works exactly as intended.
- Buildtool – practical experience with Maven or Gradle for dependency management, project compilation, etc.




- Also ready to work on Manual test execution (if needed) by creating and maintaining test sets
- Experience in CI/CD is required to create and execute Jobs in Gitlab
- Provide technical assistance to other Automation Engineers regarding the enterprise Automation Framework
- Determine automation feasibility for functional test sets/cases
- Provide test automation status and execution results to Test Lead/Test manager and other project team members.
- Work closely with QA team members, developers and other project team members in the process of automation (agile setting).

Technical Skills:

- Experience in using Java and Automation Scripting with Web, API tools (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber)
- Java, CI/CD, GitLab, Nexus experience is a must
- JIRA-XRay is a mandatory skill
- Minimum 7 years of experience in API test automation.
- Should have experience in BFSI domain, experience in Personal finance / Lending would be an added advantage
