Devel Innovations & Solutions is a technology and product-focused company building digital solutions and mobile applications. We are looking for an Android Developer who can contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of scalable and user-friendly mobile products.

The developer will work closely with UI/UX, backend, QA, and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Android Developer with strong practical experience in Kotlin/Java and Android application development.

You will be responsible for developing, testing, debugging, optimizing, and deploying Android applications while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin/Java.
- Build responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications.
- Integrate REST APIs, JSON, third-party APIs, and SDKs.
- Work with backend developers on API requirements and integration.
- Implement features such as authentication, OTP verification, payments, notifications, and other application functionalities.
- Debug application crashes, performance issues, and production bugs.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation.
- Work with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs before production release.
- Optimize application performance, memory usage,



battery consumption, and network usage.
- Manage Android application releases and deployments through Google Play Console.
- Stay updated with Android SDKs, libraries, tools, and development practices.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
- Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Jetpack.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and API integration.
- Understanding of Android UI development and responsive layouts.
- Knowledge of MVVM/MVC/MVP architecture and clean coding practices.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
- Knowledge of local data storage such as Room/SQLite.
- Experience with Firebase services such as:
- Firebase Authentication
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Analytics
- Positive debugging and performance optimization skills.
- Ability to work with third-party SDKs and APIs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Payment gateway integration experience.
- Experience with OTP, KYC, Aadhaar/PAN or bank-account verification APIs.
- Experience with image/video upload, compression, and media processing.
- Knowledge of push notifications and deep linking.




- Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
- Understanding of CI/CD and automated Android builds.
- Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.

Education A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant practical experience and strong Android development skills may also be considered.

Experience

1–3 years of professional Android development experience.

Freshers with strong Android projects and practical Kotlin experience may also be considered for a junior position.
