Job Summary

- We are looking for an experienced Android BSP Engineer with solid expertise in Android Framework, HAL, and driver development
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in embedded systems, Android architecture, system debugging, and platform-level development across Android subsystems

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, integrate, and maintain Android Framework, HAL, and driver-level components
- Work on Android HAL modules such as Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power, or related subsystems
- Support Android BSP development and ensure smooth interaction between hardware, kernel, HAL, framework, and application layers
- Perform system-level debugging, root cause analysis, and defect resolution across Android platform layers
- Ensure compliance with Android CTS/VTS requirements and support issue resolution to meet certification standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, kernel, multimedia, and platform engineering teams
- Contribute to performance optimization, stability improvement, and platform bring-up activities

Mandatory Skills

- 4+ years of experience in Android Framework, HAL, or driver development




- Strong C/C++ development skills with a good understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Good understanding of Android Framework and overall Android architecture
- Proficiency in at least one Android HAL area such as Audio, Graphics, Camera, Power, or similar domains
- Strong background in embedded systems development
- Hands-on experience in system knowledge, system debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
- Experience supporting CTS/VTS compliance and resolving related issues

Desirable Skills

- Experience with multimedia frameworks such as OpenMAX or Codec2
- Experience with Android ML runtimes such as TFLite, ONNX Runtime, or custom delegates
- Hands-on experience with hardware acceleration frameworks such as NNAPI, OpenCL, VIRTIO, or custom IPC mechanisms
- Exposure to Android platform optimization, multimedia pipelines, or hardware acceleration would be an added advantage
