Purpose of the Role:

The Trade Compliance Data Analyst / Export/Import Data Controller position exists to safeguard the organization’s global trade operations by ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal policies.

The role is responsible for analyzing and maintaining trade-related data, monitoring compliance risks, and supporting business units with accurate reporting and insights. By providing reliable data and compliance oversight, the Trade Compliance Data Analyst helps the organization minimize regulatory exposure, maintain operational efficiency, and enable secure and lawful international business activities.

Collect Trade compliance master data from sources, ensure data quality, build strong stakeholder relationships, and resolve master data tickets within SLA.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Experience in Europe and Indian Export and Import Master Data Management.
- Experience in trade compliance, customs, logistics, or international trade analysis.
- Hands-on experience with import/export documentation, HS classification (Commodity code), ECCN codes, EU Dual use code, UN Code, SAC codes and trade regulations.
- Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) and trade compliance tools.
- Collect, clean, and analyze import/export data to identify compliance risks and trends.
- Ensure data quality, build robust stakeholder relationships, and resolve master data tickets within SLA.
- Provide insights to Stakeholders on compliance performance and potential areas of improvement.
- Ensure adherence to international trade laws, including customs regulations, export controls, and sanctions.
- Support classification of products under Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN).
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and legal teams to streamline compliance processes.




- Recommend automation or system enhancements to improve compliance monitoring.
- Identify potential compliance risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Monitor changes in trade regulations and assess their impact on company operations.

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Data Analytics or any other stream.

Relevant Experience Required:

- 2-3 years of experience.
